Mozambique is a large east African country with a long coastline stretching along the Indian Ocean. Further east across the Mozambique channel is Madagascar. Tanzania is located to the north, while South Africa and Eswatini are to the south and southwest. Zimbabwe is west, while Zambia is northwest along with Malawi. It is a country with many natural resources as well as cultural diversity.
The country is famous for its white sandy beaches, tropical climate, and large areas of forest. Mozambique has a wide variety of wildlife. Portuguese is the official language but is spoken by only a small number of people.
